The final calculation is 9.1975 divided by 8.3333, then multiplied by 100. The result is 110.3704, which the calculator displays as 110.4. Because the value is above 110, the calculator labels it an “Extreme Hitter’s Park.”

Games must be greater than zero, and run totals cannot be negative. If road runs per game equals zero, the calculator returns N/A because division by zero is not possible.

A value of 100 means the two rates are equal. For example, if home games and road games both average 8.50 combined runs, the ratio is 1.00 and the park factor is 100.
